Ault and its treasures

Explore the Bay of Somme during your stay at the hotel spa Le Cise

Panorama of the cliffs of Ault from the Cise wood

From the hotel, you can walk up in 5 minutes via a path to an outlook point where you may admire the chalk cliffs.

You can discover here how this geological landmark, between 2 cliffs, has gone through the watercourse and through which access to the sea has arisen. (‘Une valleuse’, is the name for it and only so in Normandy).

A nice stroll to make after dinner or if you prefer to go in the morning you can enjoy the sunrise.

The beach of Onival

Located between Ault and Woignarue, the beach of Onival is a beautiful place of 8 km along the coast, which tempts you to kite surf, sailing or horseback riding, fishing from the shore or to stroll.

The lighthouse overlooks the entire smalltown of Ault at over 106 meters high.
The view of the chalk rock is impressive and makes you daydream.
Victor Hugo loved to walk here and couldn’t ever have enough of the scenery and the ever changing light.

Hâble D’Ault, a nature reserve is an ancient lagoon protected by a deposition of pebbles and a true paradise for bird lovers.
