Visit Bay of Somme in an old locomotive
Explore the Bay of Somme during your stay at the hotel spa Le Cise
Explore the treasures of Bay of Somme
Make the most of your stay at Le Cise to explore Bay of Somme in an unconventional way, just 16 kilometres from the hotel.
What could be better than a ride across Bay of Somme in a steam locomotive? The Chemin de Fer de la Bay of Somme Association operates these trains.
Step back in time with a trip on the old narrow gauge railway track dating from 1887, which runs through marshes and prairies!
With the steam locomotive’s leisurely pace of 25 km/hour, you will have plenty of time to see the scenery unfolding before your eyes. Nothing could be more enjoyable.
You can also enjoy exploring a protected nature reserve with magnificent landscapes and a wealth of flora and fauna.
Before you make your way back, allow yourself some time to visit your destination: Saint-Valery-sur-Somme or Le Crotoy, two typically charming coastal villages that will appeal to couples for their romantic feel, as well as families.
